Dr. TRETTER presents his versatile product range of linear axes from the MOVITEC product line at Hannover Messe 2017 (April 24 to 28, 2017). Visitors can also see the new ball rollers of the AIR-CARGO series at the booth. These are available as Saturn ball and pot rollers. Users receive solutions that are significantly lighter than competitive products while remaining very durable.

Linear units – Highly durable, flexible, and precise

Dr. TRETTER offers his extensive range of linear units from the MOVITEC and MONOCARRIER product lines. They combine ball screw drives, linear guides, and axis profiles into one. This saves the user design and assembly work. They are versatile for positioning and handling tasks and can be easily integrated into various applications. They feature aluminum profiles, some also available in steel versions in different sizes. As drives, spindle versions and timing belts are available. Optionally, Dr. TRETTER supplies the units without drives as well.

As an economical solution for medium loads and high travel speeds, users can choose the MOVITEC linear axes between sizes 40, 60, 86, or 116. The BI-RAIL linear modules from this product line are especially designed for high loads and travel speeds. As a Z-axis (mounted horizontally), the units are very robust. They consist of drawn and anodized aluminum profiles, are compactly built, and available in sizes 70, 90, 130, or 160. For high repeat accuracy and very high load capacities, linear tables are used. They are mainly spindle-driven and available in aluminum and steel versions in sizes 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, and 400.

Additionally, the compact axis units of the MONOCARRIER series are shown. The corrosion-resistant, maintenance-free linear axis for precise guidance and feed movements can be used in various applications, for example in analysis technology, semiconductor manufacturing, or on small machine tables or as pick-and-place units — under suitable conditions, also in cleanrooms or the food industry.

Ball rollers: lightweight and highly durable

In Hannover, Dr. TRETTER, as manufacturer, importer, and technology partner, also presents the new Air Cargo ball rollers made from a combination of steel sheet and plastic, aluminum, and stainless steel versions. They are built extremely lightweight and weigh up to 42 percent less than ball rollers with a full steel housing. Thanks to their integrated support shells, the pot rollers can carry up to 35 percent higher loads despite their reduced weight. Both types are resistant to dirt and corrosion, very smooth-running, and durable. These ball rollers are used, for example, in airport decks and conveyor belts, but are also increasingly used in feed tables and machine feed systems. Due to their low weight and high load capacity, they promise smooth operation and long service life.

Dr. TRETTER incorporates the ball rollers, among other things, in the new MOVER transport carts. With these lightweight, compact, and highly durable transport devices, users can, for example, efficiently move shelves in supermarkets or align equipment in technical companies.
