For quick configuration of spindle linear modules, igus has developed the "SHT Designer". With this online tool, drylin SHT linear axes can be customized to your liking. This saves the user time on complex design work. In a live webinar on June 16 and 18, participants can see for themselves how easy the SHT Designer is to use. Together with igus experts, they will assemble a linear module and receive practical tips.

For adjustment and positioning tasks or for format changes, they are a popular choice: spindle linear modules. Electrically with a motor or for manual operation. For every task, igus offers a ready-to-install solution. To make the selection simple and quick, igus has developed the online configurator SHT Designer for its drylin SHT linear module series. With just a few logical selection fields, the user can design their desired linear axis and order it directly. This results in a ready-to-connect solution with millimeter-precise lift-offs and the appropriate accessories. All parts are technically coordinated. The SHT series includes a total of 4 sizes, from a diameter of 8 to 30 mm. All components are made from robust anodized aluminum or corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Bearings, shafts, and spindle materials are selectable. Systems with multiple or counter-rotating linear slides are also configurable. With the SHT Designer, users can determine their individual linear table from all options. The igus experts Darius Jansa and Sebastian Wiederhold will explain exactly how this works in a live webinar on June 16 at 11 a.m. and June 18 at 3 p.m.

"In our webinar, we want to explain to interested parties what possibilities the configurator offers: from different spindle types to multi-slide systems to processing of drive pins, there are no limits for the user," explains Darius Jansa, Project Manager Digital Transformation drylin at igus GmbH. "Together with the participants, we will configure complete spindle linear modules online, create a 2D dimensioning drawing, and a 3D CAD model without using a CAD program.
