With two personnel changes, Weber Ultrasonics AG started the year 2021: Since January 1st, Wolfgang Mangold has strengthened the company's management board, which is one of the leading manufacturers of solutions and components for the industrial use of ultrasound in the areas of parts cleaning, bonding, and cutting of plastics, nonwovens, and composite materials, as well as textile finishing. Two months earlier, Günter Mauderer had already taken over the position of Technical Director.

Wolfgang Mangold, who has been successfully working as Vice President Operations & Supply Chain for Weber Ultrasonics over the past two years, was appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) to the company's management board on January 1, 2021. In his new position, the graduate business economist is responsible for both the operational business and the strategic orientation of the corporation in this area. Wolfgang Mangold has more than 20 years of experience in international management. In addition to managing medium-sized companies, he held leadership positions in global corporations in procurement and logistics, as well as business development up to acquisitions.

Günter Mauderer has been working as Technical Director at Weber Ultrasonics since November 1, 2020. In addition to technical orientation, his focus is on optimizing internal, cross-departmental processes and implementing project management. The graduate electrical engineer brings more than two decades of experience in the development of power electronics, including over ten years as Electronics Development Manager at a manufacturer of megasonic systems. During the last ten years, the electrical engineer has held various leadership positions at a leading manufacturer of medical technology products. Most recently, he designed and managed a department called "Design Effectiveness" to increase product maturity in new developments and implemented cross-site guidelines within the global development organization. Günter Mauderer combines deep expertise in ultrasound solution development with extensive knowledge in process and system optimization. His particular interest lies, among other things, in implementing sustainable and efficient processes.
