Wörwag Pharma Production relies on cleaning services from Piepenbrock

Wörwag Pharma Production GmbH & Co. KG relies on the services of the Piepenbrock Group of Companies. Since December 2, 2024, the Munich branch has been responsible for cleanroom and maintenance cleaning at the Pöcking site in Upper Bavaria.

Wörwag Pharma supports patients in maintaining or restoring their health. The product range includes medications and dietary supplements for diabetic comorbidities, the nervous and immune systems, and the musculoskeletal system. In Pöcking on Lake Starnberg, Wörwag Pharma Production GmbH & Co. KG manufactures various tablets and dragees. A team from Piepenbrock ensures a particle- and germ-free environment according to GMP cleanroom class D. "With the contract at Wörwag Pharma, we have expanded our expertise in cleanroom cleaning in the Munich region. This allows us to meet the specific requirements of this cleaning," says Francesca Görner, branch manager at Piepenbrock in Munich.

Customized Cleaning

The Piepenbrock team is active in Pöcking five days a week. In the evening, the staff clean the offices, sanitary facilities, and the canteen in the administration building. During the night shift, they take care of the approximately 2,600 square meters GMP area, including commissioning and storage. "We carry out the cleaning work according to the detailed specifications of the customer. These include different intervals and work steps, which we carefully document," explains Klaudija Bagara, area manager of the Piepenbrock Munich branch. While production was expanded, Piepenbrock also provided special services in construction cleaning to ensure a clean construction site.

From Qualification to Trust

Piepenbrock convinced with its GMP cleanroom qualification and professionalism during the tender process. This pays off in practice. "The employees of Piepenbrock implement what they promise. We are grateful for their expertise and recommendations," emphasizes Andreas Wallé, managing director and site manager at Wörwag Pharma Production. A growing trust is reflected in increased inquiries for special services. "I am glad that the partnership has worked well and that we can discuss and solve challenges together," summarizes Bagara.
