Vise for the highest cleanroom technical requirements

The CAT Clean Air Technology GmbH (CAT Group) has launched a new high-end product: a high-quality stainless steel vise for use in cleanrooms and hygiene-sensitive areas.

The device is made from solid 1.4305 (AISI 303) stainless steel and is available in two versions: The basic model has a clamping capacity of up to 90 mm and is supplied with 4 interchangeable jaws made of stainless steel 1.4021 and plastic (POM).

The "big brother" has some interesting extras: It features an integrated turntable that allows the entire vise to rotate 360 degrees. The head is also rotatable by 360 degrees. Additionally, the vise has an extra pipe holder with a maximum clamping capacity of 64 mm. This enables fixation in almost any conceivable position.

Both vise models are 100 percent "Made in Germany" (design, construction, and manufacturing) and are, of course, GMP-compliant. They are particularly suitable for the highly sensitive cleanroom areas of pharmaceuticals, microelectronics, medical technology, micromechanics, optics, and the food industry, as well as for hospitals and laboratories.

The first production batch of the two cleanroom vises is already sold out, with another one available shortly.
