– Company combines strategic growth and sustainability
– Successful alignment with increasing market demands
– Expectations of various stakeholders in focus

For the third consecutive year, Vetter, a globally leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), has received the award as a Best Managed Company. In Germany, Deloitte Private, the renowned daily newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine, Credit Suisse, and the Federal Association of German Industry annually award this prize to medium-sized companies whose leadership is outstanding in many ways. The award committee recognized, among other things, Vetter's sustainable corporate management, its continuous growth trajectory, and the launch of a new strategic program that prepares the company early and optimally for steadily increasing market demands. The award was personally presented on May 12 to representatives of the Vetter owner family and management. The award ceremony took place on-site in Düsseldorf for the first time since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Winning the Best Managed Companies Award for the third time in a row is an outstanding achievement for our company and especially for our current 5,700 employees,” said Senator h.c. Udo J. Vetter, Chairman of the Advisory Board and member of the owner family. “The award confirms the stability and reliability of our company, which is based on our long-term and sustainable orientation.”

The jury was impressed by the innovative methods of the pharmaceutical service provider and its strong focus on sustainable business practices. The company places great importance on a balanced relationship between ecological, social, and economic aspects. Additionally, the rapid commissioning of the new clinical production site in Rankweil, Austria, despite ongoing pandemic challenges, and the launch of the new corporate strategy Vetter NExT 2029, convinced the jury.

“As winners of the Best Managed Companies Award, Vetter has once again demonstrated its outstanding corporate leadership,” emphasized Markus Seiz, Program Director of Best Managed Company and Director at Deloitte Private. “Vetter is not only a benchmark for the German Mittelstand but also stands for a strong and thoughtful economy in turbulent times.”

“Winning the Triple at the Best Managed Companies Award is a great honor for us, highlighting our important role in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry,” said Vetter CEO Thomas Otto. “Despite current challenges related to significantly increased prices and longer delivery times, we will continue to do everything possible to maintain this successful path together with our customers, partners, and suppliers,” said Vetter CEO Peter Sölkner, looking to the future.
