Vetter wins ISPE Facility of the Year Award 2018

Vetter has won the ISPE Facility of the Year Award (FOYA) in the Facility of the Future category for its Center for Optical Inspection and Logistics. The renowned industry award was presented by an expert panel of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), one of the largest professional associations in the pharmaceutical industry, to the Ravensburg Vetter West site. The jury was convinced by the intelligent combination of site design, state-of-the-art technologies, and innovative processes at the location. As a result, the pharmaceutical service provider offers its customers an extraordinary level of efficiency, flexibility, quality, and safety in the supply chain of injectables. At the Center for Optical Inspection and Logistics, well-thought-out space concepts and optimized processes in the final inspection of filled units enable a consistently high level of quality with reduced throughput times, regardless of batch size. The modular construction concept allows for a gradual and straightforward expansion of capacities in response to continuously increasing customer demand, without disrupting ongoing operations. Multiple awards also at CMO Leadership Awards 2018

The globally active pharmaceutical service provider was recently honored in five of the six main categories at the CMO Leadership Awards 2018—namely quality, expertise, reliability, capacity, and service. The award is presented by Life Science Leader, one of the leading trade magazines in the pharmaceutical industry, and this is the seventh time it has been awarded. To determine the winners, the magazine collaborated with the market research institute Industry Standard Research (ISR). Unlike other awards, winners are not selected through an application process but based on customer evaluations of their experiences working with manufacturing partners. Respondents only assess companies with which they have worked on a specific project in the past 18 months. This ensures that the survey results are based on real experiences.
