The award honors companies that stand out through exceptional achievements in engagement, quality, and technical expertise, and underscores Vetter's role as a reliable partner for the biopharma industry. The award winners were announced during DCAT Week on March 25, 2026, in New York.

In light of continuously increasing demands on the manufacturing processes of complex biological medicines, Vetter is expanding its capacities, technological expertise, and quality systems: Strategic investments in Europe and the USA strengthen the global development and production infrastructure. Overall, the company plans investments of around two billion euros by 2035.

The basis for the award is an independent study by the Boston-based Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development, which is based on quantitative performance data and verified reviews from pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
