UV curing lamp for cleanroom
Just as there is no universal adhesive for every material, there are also individual solutions required for curing – depending, for example, on component size or production environment. In the field of light curing, Delo therefore offers a wide range of combinable surface and point lamps for different sizes of illuminated areas, as well as variable cooling concepts tailored to the customer's production conditions.
For a leading developer of systems and process solutions for the semiconductor industry, Delo has developed the UV lamp "Delolux 203" based on a "Delolux 20" lamp head. The surface lamp is designed for use in cleanrooms and must therefore not influence the constant laminar airflow present there. DELO has therefore removed the original fan and replaced it with a new external cooling profile that operates via water cooling.
Users of Delolux 203 can benefit from the advantages of a classic Delolux 20 with a wavelength of 365 nm. The lamp weighs 1.6 kg without the cooling module and measures 112 mm x 112 mm x 121 mm. It is available with an intensity of more than 600 mW/cm² and can be integrated into production lines following the plug-&-play principle. The intensity distribution remains constant throughout the entire exposure time.
"About one-third of our products are custom-developed for our customers," says Robert Saller, member of DELO's management. "Our lamps can be optimally aligned with each other due to their thin edge in the area of the light exit surface, ensuring uniformity across the entire area. With the flexible cooling module, we can now respond even better to our customers' wishes."
