University-level further education at Hohenstein

The Hohenstein Academy is now offering its courses at university level. The part-time further education program "Quality Manager (Univ.)" can be credited with a total of 12 ECTS points towards a university degree.

Hohenstein offers the certificate course together with the IBH (Institute for Vocational Higher Education): It consists of the course modules Fundamentals of Business Administration and Fundamentals of Quality Management, which are conducted by the accredited instructor Kristina Baldin-Erbe. The fundamentals are self-studied by the participants and the course concludes with an in-person seminar at Hohenstein as well as a written exam.

The knowledge and skills to be conveyed are aligned with the requirements of the central international standards for quality management (DIN EN ISO 9000 ff., DIN EN ISO/IEC 17000 ff.). The analytical engagement with the topic also fulfills the requirements of the certification guideline for QM specialists with regard to the qualification levels of a QM Officer (QB) and a Quality Manager (QM).
