Universal Robots: Teradyne announces leadership change

Teradyne, Inc. announced today that Jürgen von Hollen, who has been President of Universal Robots (UR), has decided to leave the company as of December 31, 2020. He is pursuing a new activity outside the UR competitive environment. Jürgen von Hollen has been President of Universal Robots since October 2016.

"He leaves a strong foundation from which we can climb to the next level of growth – with talented employees, a motivated ecosystem of distributors and technology partners, and a growing global customer base with over 50,000 robots."

Gregory Smith, President of the Industrial Automation division at Teradyne, will hold the office until a successor is found.
