Universal Robots sends cobots on a tour through the DACH region

Universal Robots (UR), the Danish manufacturer of collaborative robots (Cobots), is again taking its Cobots on tour across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland this year. Interested visitors can learn about collaborative robotics in automation at a total of 15 locations. The tour starts on April 25th and ends on November 7th.

"More and more companies are considering automation solutions in times of labor shortages. And companies of all sizes can benefit from the numerous application possibilities of Cobots," explains Andrea Alboni, General Manager Western Europe at Universal Robots. "To demonstrate the enormous potential with practical examples and show how easy automation can be to implement, we are once again going on tour with our colleague Robot. As last year, our partners across the entire DACH region will host the events."

The various applications and deployment possibilities of Cobots are showcased, such as palletizing, welding, or machine loading. These monotonous, ergonomically challenging, or even dangerous tasks are taken over by the robots. This increases the productivity of companies as well as their attractiveness as employers – an important argument in times of labor shortages to invest in automation solutions.

Interested visitors can experience firsthand how user-friendly and easy to operate the lightweight robots are. Additionally, they have the opportunity to test their handling themselves. Experienced experts are happy to answer questions, explain, and provide individual advice.
