Unique: Item workplace system awarded the AGR quality seal

As the first and to this day the only provider of industrial workstation systems, item Industrial Technology GmbH has been awarded the independent AGR quality seal "tested & recommended".

The seal once again underscores the leading role of the Solingen-based company in developing ergonomically advanced products: As the first on the market, item workstation systems have met the strict medical testing criteria of "Action Healthy Back". This demonstrably helps prevent potential health impairments and promotes the well-being of people in the workplace.

Health is a priority at item – comprehensive research for back-friendly working

Optimal ergonomics and especially the back-friendly design of products are among the primary goals of item’s development work, continuously incorporating the latest medical findings. This ensures that item workstation systems sustainably contribute to the prevention of back problems among their users. Furthermore, products designed with back health in mind are considered equally important and positively supportive for existing musculoskeletal disorders.

The AGR Seal – independent and consumer-oriented

The AGR seal recognizes products that have demonstrated their back-friendly design to an independent testing commission of experts from various medical fields.

The aim is to provide consumers with a decision-making aid when purchasing ergonomic products. The magazine "Ökotest" rated the AGR seal as "very good".

The quality seal was developed by the "Action Healthy Back e. V." (AGR) in cooperation with the two largest German back training associations, the "Federal Association of German Back Schools e. V." and the "Forum Healthy Back – Better Living e. V." The AGR serves as an interface where multidisciplinary expertise on back pain, its prevention, and therapy options is compiled, evaluated, and further communicated.
