Ultrapremium thermocouples for the pharmaceutical industry
Autobond thermocouples in extreme humidity - TÜV-tested stainless steel penetrations
Type T thermocouples are ideally suited for use under thermal stress in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Type T thermocouples consist of wires of the highest material purity and uniformity to minimize measurement errors caused by cold deformation and material inconsistencies.
They are particularly suitable for use in steam autoclaves, CIP/SIP systems, incubators, refrigerators, and freezers, as well as in applications with liquid nitrogen, freeze dryers, and other demanding environments at extreme temperatures.
The new Autobond thermocouples have been developed for all applications involving extreme humidity and reduce the ingress of condensation by up to 90% compared to conventional standard insulation. Especially in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, ingress of condensation moisture can become problematic.
To avoid unnecessary cable clutter and achieve more precise results, the use of penetrations when using thermocouples is recommended.
The TÜV-tested stainless steel penetrations guarantee maximum density for the insertion of thermocouples into pressure vessels such as steam autoclaves and process lines. Up to 18 thermocouples can be easily, individually, and neatly inserted into the elegant cover with bayonet lock.
The penetration can be used up to a maximum pressure of 5 bar and a maximum temperature of 150 °C.
