Triple complete: Another fine dust filter from Camfil in "A+" quality

New Hi-Flo XL series combines proven filter performance, stability, and installation advantages with unprecedented energy efficiency

While the premium bag filters of the Hi-Flo XL series by Camfil have already impressed in the past with excellent properties and values, the following product generation raises the bar even further: Because with Hi-Flo II XL, the combination of high stability, an impressive minimum efficiency (54 percent), and low energy consumption is unique in the industry. To achieve this, the previous filter medium was replaced with a completely redesigned material that reaches the highest energy class A+ in filter class F7 according to the new Eurovent guideline 2015. Following the Hi-Flo M7 50+ and the Opakfil ES, the Hi-Flo II XLT7/670 50+ is now the third product solution from Camfil that enables F7 fine dust filtration at the optimal energy consumption level.

Like its predecessor models, the new Hi-Flo II XL filters are suitable for a wide range of applications: from regular building ventilation to specific industrial applications and pre-filter stages for cleanroom requirements. Their low initial pressure difference and the very flat rising pressure loss curve ensure continuous energy consumption with a consistently high minimum efficiency of 54 percent – instead of the at least 35 percent required for achieving filter class F7.

The new series includes four models with conically shaped filter bags of different lengths. These are held by a pressure-cast, highly stable, and aerodynamically designed end frame, which offers great comfort during filter installation or replacement due to its lightweight construction.

Since around 80 percent of the total operating costs of a ventilation system are due to energy consumption, the Hi-Flo II XL series can contribute a significant share to saving money. Camfil has also considered environmental friendliness and disposal costs: both the filter medium and the frame made of polystyrol are fully incinerable.
