TPFAS – GEFRAN's new miniature pressure transmitter with front-connected measuring membrane

The miniaturized pressure transmitter with front-bonded measuring membrane TPFAS is suitable for applications where conventional transmitters with internal or large membranes cannot be used.

The small pressure transmitter TPFAS with its robust, front-bonded stainless steel measuring membrane is suitable for pressure measurement in highly viscous liquids.

The TPFAS uses the strain gauge method (DMS on steel). Thanks to its thick, durable stainless steel membrane (stainless steel 17-4 PH), it is especially suitable for pressure measurement in applications where conventional transmitters with large or internally mounted membranes cannot be used. These include, for example, mixing and dosing systems for very viscous, high-viscosity liquids such as oils, rubbers, pastes, and similar chemical products.

Reliable pressure transmitter for harsh conditions

The large thickness of the membrane and the protection class IP65/67 make the miniature pressure transmitter TPFAS very reliable and suitable for use even under the most unfavorable industrial conditions. The measurement ranges are from 0...25 to 0...600 bar. Modern electronics enable a comprehensive range of output signals in current and voltage. The innovative function for digital zero and span calibration allows for easy and quick automatic adjustment of the zero point after installation. This is achieved simply by briefly touching the sensor with the included magnetic pen or bridging two contact pins of the connector.

Two membrane sizes available

The miniaturized pressure transmitter is available in two membrane sizes:
- Diameter 10.9 mm with G ¼ connection thread
- Diameter 8.6 mm with M 10x1 connection thread
