Top graduates from Zweibrücken for the chip industry

The Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences trains excellent professionals at the Zweibrücken campus in the Department of Computer Science and Microsystems Technology (IMST) for the growing semiconductor market.

Intel and Wolfspeed are just two names that, in connection with the construction of chip factories in Germany, draw attention to the European Chip Act passed in September 2023. Microchips and semiconductor technologies are of strategic importance for the industrial value chain of many sectors – from the automotive industry to IT and medical technology.

The "Chips for Europe" initiative supports the development of technological capacities and innovations. Highly qualified engineers are urgently needed for this. Semiconductor technologies are a focus in the Bachelor's program "Micro- and Nanoengineering" and in the Master's program "Systems Engineering."
