This is what winners look like

Austria's most renowned organization from business, NGOs, media, and civil society has been honoring responsible entrepreneurship in Carinthia for 10 years now.

Especially prudent entrepreneurs who take their corporate responsibility seriously and embed it into their core business are brought into the spotlight and highlighted.

From "I" to "we," is the not only catchy but also challenging principle of the internationally successful Villach-based family business ORTNER Reinraumtechnik, which has been pursuing and actively living this goal since its founding in 1985.

For some time now, efforts have been aligned not only with a modern and future-proof way of working together but also strategically with the "global sustainability goals" – a more concise translation for the "Sustainable Development Goals."

Inspired by an omnipresent "overabundance frustration," the project initiated and awarded by ORTNER, with the programmatic title "Too good for the bin," focuses on the targeted reduction, as well as consciously appreciating food and consumables.

At the strict and highly qualified jury, the performance of DecAx Reinraumtechnologie, which ensures improved safety and durability of food, scored full points in the category Social Innovation & Future Challenges and was praised as particularly "societally relevant and sustainable."
