Theoretical knowledge and practical experience – the perfect combination

In September of last year, Nina Bäuml started her studies with an emphasis on practical medical technology at RAUMEDIC. Today, a year later, she knows she made the right decision. "With this training, I have the opportunity to combine theory and practice. I can directly apply and deepen the theoretical content from my studies during the semester breaks in the company," says Ms. Bäuml.

The study program with a focus on practical medical technology is conducted at RAUMEDIC in conjunction with the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden. In the newly built medical technology complex, students have access to many laboratories to familiarize themselves both with materials and devices, as well as with the human body.

Since future professionals go through different departments at RAUMEDIC during the semester breaks, they gain insights into processes and connections even during their studies. By participating in current projects, they can incorporate their learned knowledge into everyday work. "We are glad to be able to offer career starters such perspectives," says Walter Reingruber, Training Manager at RAUMEDIC. "The development of our employees is very important to us.
