The International Cleanroom Day is a forum aimed at all companies that require cleanrooms, work in cleanrooms, plan cleanrooms, or have an interest in the topic. Primarily, this includes the industries of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemistry, medical technology, nanotechnology, automotive industry, food industry, optical industry, semiconductor manufacturing, solar cell technology, laboratories, and laboratory technology.

In an impulse lecture, Jürgen Luckas from saaris will speak about "A Journey Through the Cleanroom" and inform about different requirements for various industries. Afterwards, the cleanroom landscape of the Workshop Center for Disabled People of Lebenshilfe gGmbH (WZB) will be visited. On-site, the production, decontamination, and sterilization of cleanroom clothing will be demonstrated.
