The selection of the right cleanroom cloth is difficult

Cleanroom wipes are used in almost every cleanroom. The requirements for a cleanroom cloth can vary greatly depending on the application.

One important property is certainly lint-free performance, but many other factors also play a role in choosing the right cloth. These can include good chemical resistance, high liquid absorption, or antistatic properties. Abrasion resistance and softness can also be decisive factors in the selection. Of course, the requirements for the cleanliness class of the cleanroom must also be kept in mind.

The product range of cloths is extensive: nonwoven cloths, polyester cloths, ESD cloths, moistened cloths, or sponge-like cloths, among others.

Microfiber cloths are often used where high purity requirements are imposed. The thermally welded edges ensure minimal particle release. Additionally, the cloths are very soft and thus suitable for sensitive surfaces.
