The Montech knife edge features the smallest knife edge radius in ball-bearing design on the market, enabling precise transfer of conveyed goods with an especially small transfer gap between conveyor belts. At the same time, it is currently the only cleanroom-certified knife edge of its kind. The Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation IPA tested the knife edge under cleanroom conditions according to ISO 14644-1; -14 and awarded it the TESTED DEVICE® certificate. It meets the requirements of air cleanliness class ISO 5, making it ideally suited for sensitive production environments with high demands on precision, process safety, and reduced particle emissions.
