The lecture program for 2014 is set!

The lectures for VISION PHARMA, the LOUNGES, and INNOVATION FOOD 2014 have been submitted by the exhibiting companies. The trade fair advisory board has reviewed and evaluated all proposals. The program is now available online.

Within the LOUNGES lectures, the Fraunhofer Institute IPA will hold, among others, the following sessions: "CMM – Cleanroom-Compatible Materials", "CMM – Adsorption / Desorption of VHP by Materials", "CMM – Investigation of Particle Emission from Material Pairs under Tribological Stress", "Ultraprecision Cleaning", "Particulate Cleanliness Analysis of Medical Technology Products", "Determination of Cleanroom Compatibility of Equipment", "Laboratory Planning – From Layout to Laboratory Operation", "Component Cleanliness as a Key Success Factor for the Future – Approaches from Cleanroom Technology", as well as "Airborne Molecular Contaminants (ACC) – Current Research Results".

In the field of "Cleanroom Planning", the following lectures are planned: "New Construction and Upgrades of Cleanrooms in Existing Buildings", "Planning an ESD Protection Concept for Cleanrooms", "Cost-Effective IT Systems for Cleanrooms and Their Planning for Integration", and "Recirculation Systems in Pharmacy".

The VIP 3000 plans, among others, the following sessions: "Integrated Scheduling – Construction / Pharma / Qualification", "Integrated Planning", "Design of Personnel and Material Lockers", "Successful Project Management with 3C Management", "EMS – Energy Management Solutions", "Modern Filter Media", "Floor in the Cleanroom", and "Ceilings and Walls in the Cleanroom".

Other topics include: "Cleanroom Equipment", "Cleanroom Concepts – Surfaces and Floors", "Cleanroom Monitoring", "Cleanroom Qualification", "Hygiene", "Cleaning", "Particulate Filters", and "Measuring and Calibrating", each with multiple lectures.

One of the highlights is likely to be the presentation of cleanroom projects, including: "System Integration from the Perspective of a Plant Manufacturer", "Planning Criteria for Hygienic Humidification", or "Cleanroom Technology in the Operating Room".

One of the most underestimated fields is clothing. These lectures aim to highlight the importance of particle entry through the human factor into the cleanroom: "Clothing Concepts Under Review", "Cleanroom Clothing – Between Technical Necessity and Comfort", "Successful Clothing Concepts from Planning to Implementation", "Personnel Lock – Necessary Evil or Important Part of a Cleanroom Concept", "Cleanroom Consumables – Cent Items with Consequences", "When One and One Doesn’t Equal Two – A Study about Presaturated Wipes / Sterile, Less Sterile, and Non-Sterile", "Flexible Packaging and Disposable Foil Systems as Consumables in the Cleanroom", or "Why Not Use QbD Model When Thinking About Cleanroom PPE".

The eighth LOUNGES, as well as VISION PHARMA and INNOVATION FOOD, will take place for the first time from June 3 to 5, 2014, in Stuttgart. As before, industry professionals can register online free of charge as participants and attend the above-mentioned lectures, as well as the exhibition with action stages, product shows, bars, and two evening events.
