Systec & Solutions presents TYDORA, a completely newly developed overall system consisting of a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and a mobile workstation. The entire system was specifically designed to meet the requirements of the life sciences industry as well as for use in cleanroom environments.
TYDORA combines modern industrial design, thoughtful ergonomics, and uncompromising hygienic suitability with powerful technology. The development of the system was consistently informed by Systec & Solutions' decades of experience in the life sciences and especially in cleanroom manufacturing. Users benefit from optimized workflows, increased process safety, and a sustainably improved user ergonomics in daily operation.
Throughout the entire development phase, TYDORA was deliberately designed according to the requirements of modern cleanroom environments. All components of the system follow a continuous "Life Science Ready by Design" approach. The fully redesigned housing of the TYDORA 127 is made of stainless steel 1.4404 / 316L and features surfaces that are very easy to clean. Rear screw connections have been completely eliminated to avoid dirt edges and hard-to-reach areas.
The extremely flat and seamless design further supports easy cleaning and emphasizes the modern character of the system. This significantly reduces cleaning effort, contamination risks, and downtime – a crucial advantage in GMP production environments.
With its integrated 27-inch display, it combines maximum screen area with an exceptionally compact form factor. Despite the larger display, the system has almost the same external dimensions as previous 24-inch solutions. With a depth of only 36 millimeters, the TYDORA 127 is about 35 percent thinner than comparable systems of the previous generation, making it one of the slimmest industrial HMIs in its class. The larger display area improves the overview of complex applications and supports users in clear and error-reduced operation. At the same time, the compact design makes integration into tight production environments easier.
Technologically, TYDORA is based on the latest Intel® processor generation and is available in the variants ENDPOINT, ALLROUND, PERFORMANCE, and as a MONITOR. High-resolution Full HD or UHD displays, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and modern multi-touch technology ensure maximum future security and performance in demanding industrial applications. Companies benefit from high investment security, flexible deployment options, and a powerful platform for future digitization and automation projects.
Furthermore, TYDORA integrates intelligent functions to optimize daily operations. A Presence Recognition Sensor automatically activates the display when the operator approaches, significantly reducing energy consumption, especially in mobile battery operation. Additionally, an integrated ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the screen brightness to the environment. This not only increases energy efficiency and battery life but also improves user comfort and supports resource-efficient operation.
Special attention was paid to ergonomics and ease of operation. The newly developed One-Click mounting system allows tool-free installation of the HMI, including integrated data and power connections. An integrated torque hinge enables ergonomic height adjustment of the HMI and optimal adaptation to different working positions. The system is complemented by flush-mounted accessory connectors on the back of the HMI, through which extensions such as RFID/NFC readers or speaker systems can be integrated.
The TYDORA system consists of the TYDORA 127 HMI and the TYDORA WORKSTATION, which were developed as a fully integrated mobile solution. The close system integration enables seamless and efficient use in daily production and significantly reduces interface and compatibility efforts.
Extensive design and ergonomic studies formed the basis for the optimal arrangement of HMI and keyboard as well as for the overall ergonomic concept of the platform. The HMI is individually height-adjustable, while the keyboard can be ergonomically tilted. An optional height adjustment for the keyboard is also available. This reduces physical strain and supports comfortable working even during long shifts.
For maximum mobility, the TYDORA WORKSTATION integrates newly developed LiFePO4 batteries directly into the foot system. Depending on the configuration, the system allows operation times of up to 24 hours. The battery modules were specially designed for quick and easy maintenance by the end user. The innovative Magnetic-Charger concept also provides a cleanroom-compatible charging infrastructure, as the charging port is located at an ergonomic height and the charging cable does not touch the cleanroom floor. Additionally, a Magnetic Super-Charger with up to 1 kilowatt charging power is available via a docking station with flush integration into cleanroom walls. This enables uninterrupted mobile operation, reduces maintenance times, and simultaneously increases safety and cleanliness within sensitive cleanroom environments.
Alongside the new platform, two completely new keyboard systems, KEYBOARD NG and KEYBOARD NF, were developed. The glass keyboard and the membrane keyboard each feature large separate multi-touch touchpads and optionally integrated RFID readers. Four freely configurable shortcut keys and a special cleaning mode enable efficient and safe operation in daily cleanroom use. Ergonomic grip structures have also been integrated to facilitate the safe movement of the mobile workstation. This allows work processes to be faster, safer, and more intuitive while minimizing operational errors and cleaning interruptions.
