The new online presence of Bürkert has been redesigned visually, technically, functionally, and in terms of content, and with an eShop, it is now even more tailored to the users' wishes.

From now on, the fluid technology specialist Bürkert presents itself with a newly designed and structured website. A core component of the new appearance is an online shop integrated into the product and application sections of the website. Through the comprehensive new online offering, Bürkert reinforces its position as a globally leading manufacturer of measurement, control, and regulation systems, a competent project partner, system provider, and attractive employer. The new offering can be accessed via the familiar internet address.

With a modern design, user-oriented structure, and the use of current web technologies, the new website is the central point of contact for many concerns. The new appearance features a flat navigation depth, cross-linking to other areas, comprehensive search options, interactive elements, 3D animations, and models. By using large images and a clean design, the new online presence combines technical content with a fresh aesthetic. Thanks to automatic adaptation to all devices, the modern design, which is optimally accessible and available in 29 countries and 16 language versions, can also be used on smartphones and tablets.

Content-wise, Bürkert's global system solutions occupy more space on the new website. In a total of five system houses in Germany, the USA, and China, the fluid technology specialist develops customized complete systems for the plants of its customers from industry and research. In the "Products and systems in use" section, visitors can read application reports and customer statements, as well as learn more about successfully completed projects. The stronger positioning of the system houses reflects the increasing shift of Bürkert from a component manufacturer to a provider of complete system solutions.

As a new service, Bürkert now also offers RSS feeds and the ability to share content directly via social media. Interested visitors can, for example, subscribe to press releases as an RSS feed and receive them automatically. Journalists will also find, in addition to press releases, image and video material in the press area. The offering in the careers section has also been expanded. In addition to current job postings and information from the HR department, interested visitors can now also find employee testimonials on the new website, providing a direct insight into everyday working life at Bürkert.

Online shopping 24/7

What is increasingly becoming standard in the private sector is also on the rise in the industrial goods environment: purchasing products via the internet. Studies estimate that around 50 to 60% of industrial company buyers source their goods online. Bürkert has recognized this shift and now offers its customers the possibility to purchase products through its own online shop. This is now accessible via the product and application sections. The initial countries for this additional sales channel are Germany, the UK, Spain, and the Netherlands. Further countries will follow from mid-year and will be added gradually.

To provide the best possible online advice, Bürkert invested significant effort into product search and filtering. Features of the shop include a customer-oriented output structure with detailed attribute filtering, a free-text search that, in addition to standard functions, allows input of types down to identification numbers, and a central display of all product information. Other features include a fluidics calculator and an availability table. Both tools support customers in finding the most suitable Bürkert product depending on their application environment and requirements.
