Weiss Technik increases data security with the S!MPATI online control software. All test system data are automatically transferred to the cloud. Another advantage: the user has location-independent access. For example, automated test reports or runtime-independent evaluations can be quickly and easily created from anywhere.

S!MPATI online is software for managing test systems. It enables the organization of tests and the creation of test reports via the internet. One of the main advantages, however, is the redundant storage of data. This means: all measurement results, device information, and test reports are additionally stored in the cloud for local backup. This protects the data—even if fire, water, storms, or viruses destroy the information at one location. This also complies with Rule No. 1 from Dell Technologies' 2020 Backup Study: "Keep at least one copy off-site."

The security of S!MPATI online begins even before the data is stored in the cloud. The data transfer is handled by a gateway developed by Weiss Technik itself. This establishes the connection between the local S!MPATI system and the cloud. Additionally, the user can only access cloud data in read-only mode. This eliminates the risk of malware from the cloud.

The cloud version is backwards compatible with S!MPATI 2016 and even exceeds some of its functions. The online version allows for cross-site management of systems and tests. This enables worldwide, easy access at any time. It also includes features for semi-automated report generation. Test reports can now be created at the push of a button with all relevant data.
