Reliable cleanrooms play a significant role in numerous industries. Especially the changing production requirements and processes demand a flexible adaptation to the cleanroom environment. At the 15th VDI Conference "Cleanroom Technology" on June 12 and 13, 2013, in Stuttgart, machinery, systems, and production processes in the cleanroom are the focus. Under the professional sponsorship of the VDI Society Building and Civil Engineering, the VDI Knowledge Forum offers an established expert meeting to discuss, among other topics, the integration of process and system components from the perspective of plant engineers.

The conference addresses system concepts for injection molding under cleanroom conditions, as well as hygienic design and high-performance applications in the Medical and Pharma sectors. Further presentations deal with the planning, commissioning, and operation of a cleanroom system to produce medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and Advanced Medical Therapy Products (ATMP), as well as automation solutions using mini-environment technology.

Experts will report among other things on trends in system qualification in the pharmaceutical industry, cleanliness analysis and assessment of systems and products. A tour of the ISO Class 1 cleanrooms at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation IPA in Stuttgart completes the program.

At the special seminar on the day after the conference, June 14, 2013, participants can deepen their knowledge about H2O2 sterilization for the decontamination of cleanrooms.

The event is aimed at experts from planning, production, operation, quality assurance, and maintenance across all applications of cleanroom technology, as well as specialists, employees of supervisory authorities, and service companies.
