Symbiosis of digital and analog convinces

The Swiss Medtech Expo is the place where developers, engineers, or product managers from the Medtech industry can inform, inspire, and exchange ideas. This was clearly demonstrated by the third edition of the trade fair, which concluded today. The exhibitors praised the high quality of the professional audience and the beneficial interplay of their analog and digital presence.

"I am very satisfied with the Swiss Medtech Expo," says trade fair director René Ziswiler. With 1,700 visitors, he can report an increase in visitors on one hand, and on the other hand, the Swiss Medtech Expo has proven that the innovative trade fair concept is effective. Tailored to focus topics and application areas, the Swiss Medtech Expo offered inspiration, expertise, and networking – even before the fair on the website.

"Our visitors researched the exhibitors, showcases, and lectures thoroughly in advance and used the networking tool," explains Ziswiler. For the trade fair director, this has a clear added value: "At the fair, the right people come together to discuss new solutions collaboratively."

Exhibitors benefit from the concept

Exactly this efficient networking is the great strength of the Swiss Medtech Expo, confirms Robel Getachew from SCHUNK Intec AG. "Visitors came very focused and with specific questions to our booth. That was a new and very positive experience for us," says Getachew. Andreas Horst from ElringKlinger Kunststofftechnik GmbH also gives a positive review: "The quality of the visitors was right. We were able to hold numerous customer discussions, which will lead to concrete projects." Overall, the exhibitors were satisfied with this year's Swiss Medtech Expo. The opportunity to present their competencies comprehensively online before the fair is appreciated. "The combination of digital presence and personal exchange at the fair works exemplary at the Swiss Medtech Expo," summarizes Peter Himsolt from IFTEST.

Knowledge transfer on two stages

The success of the Swiss Medtech Expo was also contributed to by the Innovation Symposium. The symposium was expanded for the first time to a second stage and included a total of 84 presentations. "The diversity of topics was unique, and we succeeded in providing a realistic view into practice," says René Ziswiler. The direct knowledge transfer in the form of short keynote lectures was very well received by the audience. The Innovation Symposium was accordingly well attended.
