Great joy at RK Rose+Krieger Managing Director Hartmut Hoffmann: for the tenth consecutive time, RK Rose+Krieger received the Top-100 award – this year for sustainable innovation and improvement processes.

RK Rose+Krieger has been listed among the 100 most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany for the tenth consecutive time. The award with the Top-100 seal once again confirms the innovative strength of the full-service provider for linear technology, profile assembly technology, as well as connection and modular technology. This year, RK Rose+Krieger impressed with its continuous innovation and improvement processes and its actions during the pandemic.

"The repeated recognition with the Top-100 seal affirms our work. It confirms that we have done quite a lot of things well," explains Hartmut Hoffmann, Managing Director of RK Rose+Krieger, and adds: "Once is not enough, but being chosen among the Top 100 most innovative German SMEs for ten years in a row is something special and very important to us."

The innovative strength of RK Rose+Krieger is based on a successful internal suggestion and improvement system. "Our employees now enjoy developing new ideas and submitting suggestions for improvement," confirms Hartmut Hoffmann. This makes the continuous work on the sustainable improvement of products and workflows within the company relatively easy.

Even during the current pandemic, the creative spirit of the Minden-based company was evident: despite the orientation phase and short-time work, creativity did not diminish. For example, RK Rose+Krieger developed, among other things, its RK Hygiene Protection based on its protective and separation system, creating a customizable droplet protection for reception counters in medical practices, pharmacies, law firms, police, fire departments, or for the checkout area of retail stores within a very short time. And since all trade fairs were canceled, RK Rose+Krieger brought the exhibition directly to the customer with its virtual tour through real exhibition rooms. In two thematically separated exhibition rooms, visitors can learn about the company's products.

Good order situation for customized assembly workstations

The idea of sustainable innovation is also reflected in the ergonomically designed and digitizable assembly workstations of the company. These help ensure that the production of complex products in small quantities, with high variability and work processes that are not suitable for automation, remains affordable even in high-wage countries. Currently, these individually configurable assembly workstations are in high demand in the medical industry. The new North German subsidiary RK-AHT was able to record a high volume of orders last year. In a new showroom in Bienenbüttel, RK-AHT demonstrates the full range of options using sample workstations and then works together with the customer to develop the optimal workspace for their application.
