Surface hygiene at the highest technical level

With the name Sanibord from the company Iso-Pan, one associates technological innovations in the field of fiber-reinforced hygienic wall and ceiling systems made of plastic. Now, the Sanibord system has been technically expanded to make a significant step forward in the hygiene sector. Under the name Sanibord Care, a composite material is introduced for the food industry as a world first: The fiber-reinforced plastic features a special nanosilver surface that provides an antibacterial effect. The result: germs die within a few hours.

The innovative material is therefore ideally suited as a wall coating in almost all areas where hygiene is of critical importance. When combined with the Sanifirm grout, numerous application fields open up, such as in cold storage facilities, cold rooms, as well as in processing rooms of the catering and food industry, but also in cleanroom and clinical environments.

The active ingredient known from the medical field is a specially modified nanosilver, which is also used in medical devices. This acts antibacterial across the entire surface, continuously and relentlessly, unlike normal disinfection: 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. Even under heavy use and cleaning, this effect lasts over 55 years.

It is not a film coating; instead, the material impresses with a sealed composite that is pore-free and easy to clean.

The threefold effect on pathogens ensures increased hygienic safety. The nanosilver surface acts antibacterial. It disrupts the bacteria's metabolism by inactivating cellular enzymes, destroys the cell membrane, and prevents DNA replication. As a result, the natural fluctuations during cleaning and disinfection are balanced by a permanent effect at every point of the wall and ceiling surfaces. This creates a redundant system of maximum hygienic safety. Disinfection on the surface of Sanibord Care means a reduction of germs by a factor of at least 10^5, so that less than 10 out of 1,000,000 reproducing germs survive.

Despite its low weight, Sanibord Care offers high stability and is simultaneously safe for health and environmentally friendly.
