Sure, stable and user-friendly – the new Höcker tipping container

Stainless steel tipping containers are not often seen on the market – even less common are those with an automatic rollover mechanism. This and many other advantages are offered by the new Höcker stainless steel tipping container, which was presented to industry professionals at the IFFA in Frankfurt in May. "The rollover mechanism has been frequently requested lately. We responded quickly and developed and built a version tailored to these new requirements of our customers," explains Benjamin Höcker, Managing Director of the specialist for high-quality products for the meat and food industry as well as pharmaceuticals. The tipping container is mainly used for collecting and disposing of meat waste, but it can also be used for other materials of various kinds.

Many advantages through the rollover mechanism

Safe, stable, and user-friendly – these qualities are definitely part of the Höcker tipping container. It is particularly safe thanks to slip protection, tipping safety, and safety markings according to workplace guideline A1.3. It is especially stable due to its tub with 3 mm wall thickness and 4 mm thick fork tunnel, and very user-friendly thanks to its self-tipping function. This allows the container to be emptied without manual unlocking.

The rollover mechanism prevents sudden tipping and protects forklifts and containers. When up to 1000 kg act on the forklift mast, rapid wear can occur without the rollover mechanism. This often results in frequent and costly repairs to the forklift. The new rollover mechanism, on the other hand, ensures gentle emptying without impact stress on the forklift's lifting frame. Additionally, the precisely calculated center of gravity allows for automatic tipping back of the emptied container by simply tilting the forklift mast backward. "This self-tipping function significantly relieves the forklift driver, who no longer has to get off to empty the container and then tilt it back, but only needs to release the chain for tipping safety," emphasizes Jörg Eekhoff, Technical Sales at Höcker. An additional safety benefit: the driver is never in the danger zone, meaning the swing area of the container.

Flexible, mobile, easy to clean

Another advantage of the Höcker tipping container is its flexibility. Its stainless steel construction makes it very easy to clean and quickly ready for different uses.

Höcker offers the tipping container with runners for transport using a forklift. Additionally, there is a mobile version with two saddle and two lockable swivel casters, where only high-quality Höcker wheels made of polyamide are used. "The major advantage of this mobile version is that you don't need an additional pallet truck to move the container out of the production area," explains Eekhoff.
