Successful Technology Day for the inauguration of the new company location in Frickenhausen
On the occasion of the opening of their new branch, the managing directors of bc-technology GmbH invited to the first Cleanroom Technology Day in Frickenhausen.
The main theme of the day — "Cleanroom Technology in the Environment of Medical Device Manufacturing" — ran like a red thread throughout the day, which, in addition to numerous lectures and practical demonstrations, also provided plenty of space for personal exchange and networking.
With this well-attended Technology Day, bc-technology GmbH officially inaugurated its new location in Frickenhausen. The cleanroom specialist had renovated an existing building in recent months, creating nearly 2,400 square meters of additional production and office space.
The company, founded in 2005, sees itself well positioned to maintain its growth pace, enabling it to respond even more quickly to customer requirements through improved processes and increased efficiency. These requirements are not decreasing, as was highlighted during the Technology Day.
The new Medical Device Regulation (MDR) of the European Union is causing considerable uncertainty. Through lectures and discussion rounds, the Technology Day provided orientation on topics such as required cleanroom classes and documentation obligations, although final statements cannot currently be made, as the implementation of the regulation, for example with the "Notified Bodies," has not yet begun. The news that the EU is already pushing the next regulation with the planned Health Technology Assessment (HTA) regulation made it clear that continuous information and good consulting are becoming increasingly important.
bc-technology chose an open format for the Technology Day, offering numerous options with flexible scheduling. This informative mix of lectures, practical demonstrations, and plenty of space for conversations and networking received very positive feedback from participants. A particular highlight was the 3D visualization titled "Industry 4.0 in Cleanroom Planning / Risk Analysis with Virtual Reality Technology." The roadshow on filter energy efficiency and practical handling exercises also attracted large crowds. "Each participant was able to deepen those points that promised the greatest insight," said Managing Director Henrik Böhme, very satisfied.
