Successful completion as a Cleanroom Service Technician

The Hamburg-based building service provider Tereg Gebäudedienste GmbH is a professional in the field of cleanroom cleaning, as the company has been serving its client, Hochtief Energy Management GmbH at the NXP Semiconductors Germany GmbH site in Hamburg-Lokstedt, in cleanroom cleaning since 2003.

To meet their own standards as well as those of their clients at a high level, Manuela Boguslawski / Department Manager and Sven Neddermeyer / Glass and Building Cleaner – both employed at Tereg – completed the IHK certification course 'Cleanroom Service Technician' with proof of expertise in 'Microbiological & Cytostatic Cabinets'.

Long required by the professional association as proof of expertise in the cleanroom sector, this seminar imparts extensive knowledge in the areas of cleanroom technology, cleanroom systems, and filter technology.

Standards and regulations that have international validity and ensure a uniform hygiene standard worldwide, such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), PIC (Pharmaceutical Inspection Convention), and FDA (Food and Drug Administration), are treated as intensively in this seminar as the basics of measurement technology, personal protective measures, and legal fundamentals related to this sensitive production area.

Various testing procedures such as DOP/DEHS tests, pressure and integration tests, practical exercises in a cleanroom, and a microbiological safety cabinet completed this thematically and content-wise demanding course, which both seminar participants successfully completed in April 2013.

With this, Tereg Gebäudedienste GmbH takes another important step towards expanding its expertise in the field of cleanroom cleaning and ensuring compliance with international quality and hygiene standards.
