Success for Holstein: Camfil among the TOP 100 German innovation leaders
The champion from Reinfeld
For the 25th time, the TOP 100 competition honors the most innovative companies in German medium-sized businesses. This year, Camfil KG is among these innovation leaders. This was revealed by the analysis of the scientific director of TOP 100, Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke. In the presence of Minister President Winfried Kretschmann and former Federal President Christian Wulf, Ranga Yogeshwar, mentor of TOP 100, will honor the company from Reinfeld, represented by the Managing Director of Camfil KG, Norbert Gregor, together with Franke and compamedia on June 29, 2018, at the award ceremony in Ludwigsburg as part of the 5th German Mittelstand Summit. In the independent selection process, Camfil impressed with around 350 employees (Germany) especially with its exemplary innovation management and fostering an innovation culture. "We are proud of this coveted award, which confirms our successfully implemented process innovations and recognizes our years of research, as well as our eight-figure investments in the Holstein economic region and in our employees!" emphasizes Norbert Gregor at the award ceremony.
The innovative filter solutions of Camfil KG are used wherever clean indoor air is particularly important: in hospitals, the pharmaceutical and food sectors, in factories, museums, or shopping malls. They ensure clean air and thus protect processes in industry, surfaces of products, and create hygiene for people's health. The corresponding filter solutions clean the air by even removing fine dust particles that could otherwise reach the bloodstream directly through the lungs when inhaled. The consequences of fine dust pollution are long known. In addition to proven cardiovascular diseases and cancer, dementia is also attributed to the influence of fine dust particles.
Since March 2017, the TOP 100 company has been presenting its filters in its own 300-square-meter "Camfil Experience Center" in Reinfeld near Hamburg. There, scientists, architects, planners, multipliers, and (potential) customers come together to experience in a multimedia and interactive way how the product solutions of the top innovator work in applications. "The visions, digital content, and the interplay of the most modern media technology in the staging of the product benefits represent a disruptive innovation that has never existed before in the industry," says Norbert Gregor. In the Experience Center, current topics are implemented and tailored to the needs of users, creating real added value.
The Camfil KG, the German subsidiary of the Swedish family-owned company of the same name, relies on a house of encounter with its around 350 employees in Germany—and on the staging of its products. According to Managing Director Norbert Gregor, this new point of sale allows for much better relationships than at any trade fair. Additionally, the Experience Center plays an important role in employer branding. "This also helps us attract young talents to our company," emphasizes Norbert Gregor.
