With two new market segment managers for the healthcare and industrial sectors, nora systems, manufacturer of high-quality rubber floors, is starting the new year. Andreas Reiß is responsible for expanding the healthcare market in northern Germany, while the areas south of Frankfurt am Main will continue to be managed by Martina Hoock. Also responsible for northern Germany is Frank Bähr. His task is the strategic and operational further development of the industrial business field in collaboration with his colleague Christian Fleuren, who has held this position for southern Germany since 2010.

Both new market segment managers possess many years of experience in the flooring industry. Andreas Reiß previously ran his own installation company before joining nora systems in 2001, then known as Freudenberg Bausysteme KG, where he worked until the end of 2014 as a technical advisor in the field service for the region around Aachen and Mönchengladbach. Frank Bähr had already worked as a product manager at Freudenberg Bausysteme KG until the late 1990s. After 15 years in project business with other well-known flooring manufacturers, he returned to nora systems in December 2014. "With the team of now four market segment specialists, we are emphasizing our expertise in our core markets," says sales manager Bettina Haffelder. Hoock and Fleuren, who have been working in these positions for several years, are well connected in their markets.

Competent advice for builders and users

In addition to expanding market shares and sales, the acquisition, support, and consulting of key customers as well as supporting the external sales team are among the main tasks of the market segment managers. "Our goal is to further establish the nora brand with architects, builders, and users in the industrial sector and to convince decision-makers of the advantages of our flooring systems," explains Bähr. Reiß aims to strengthen the good cooperation with university hospitals and large hospital chains. "I see significant potential here, because sustainable, safe, and at the same time economical products like ours are increasingly in demand," says the 49-year-old, drawing from his extensive experience in external sales.*
