Stützenfest in Dülmen-Nord: Goldbeck builds new production hall for Bausch+Ströbel
The Bausch+Ströbel Plant Münsterland GmbH + Co. KG celebrated a significant construction milestone with the support festival at the new location in the emerging industrial area Dülmen-Nord. For the manufacturer of filling and packaging systems, the Goldbeck branch in Münster is realizing a forward-looking and innovative production hall with an adjoining office building.
The load-bearing components of the new production site are in place. At the support festival on the construction site in the newly developing industrial area in Dülmen-Nord, Bausch+Ströbel celebrated the symbolic milestone. The company from Ilshofen in Baden-Württemberg will manufacture innovative insulators for sensitive pharmaceutical products here in the future. Around 150 jobs are to be created at the new site. The completion of the building is scheduled for early 2026. "The construction of this new production hall is a strategic investment in the future. With the site in Dülmen, we have optimal conditions to continue our growth trajectory," says Dr. Hagen Gehringer, Chief Technical Officer at Bausch+Ströbel. The Münster branch of Goldbeck is implementing a production hall for the filling and packaging specialist, complemented by a three-story office building in the emerging industrial area Dülmen-Nord.
Bausch+Ströbel has already begun production at its location in Rosendahl. However, here the company is reaching capacity limits. The new building in Dülmen is a sign of growth: "We are creating a tailor-made, future-proof production hall for Bausch+Ströbel with 5,000 square meters of production space, energy-efficient equipment, and flexible expansion options," says branch manager Christian Terwey of Goldbeck. It is complemented by an office building with nearly 2,000 square meters and space for 60 parking spots. The overall 45,000-square-meter site also provides ample room for future expansion. "Goldbeck convinced us early on with its approaches during the initial planning phase and has successfully completed several large projects in the Coesfeld district over the past few years. Additionally, the focus on sustainable construction was very important to us, and Goldbeck achieves this through its in-house and material-optimized production," emphasizes Gregor Balster, site manager of Bausch+Ströbel.
Environmentally friendly construction for secure production
In Goldbeck's holistic planning, the ideal combination of functionality and energy efficiency played a special role. Therefore, the property is equipped with, among other things, a wooden roof truss and a heat pump. As an energy-efficient new building at Efficiency House Level 40, the client also receives funding from the KfW Development Bank for the new construction. The client also felt the strong support of the city of Dülmen and the building authority from the very beginning. "The cooperation with the authorities prior to the construction work was smooth from the start. It was characterized by great openness and constructive exchange," summarizes Balster.
In Dülmen, the manufacturer is primarily expanding its product portfolio. In the future, innovative insulators will be produced here. An insulator is a highly developed containment system that provides an isolated environment for handling sterile or aseptically toxic pharmaceuticals. This innovative technology serves as a protective barrier between the operator and the pharmaceutical products being processed, minimizing contamination and exposure risks, thereby ensuring a sterile and controlled atmosphere inside the isolator. Insulators are mounted on filling machines, as Bausch+Ströbel has been manufacturing for decades.
