SPIE successfully completes acquisition of OTTO Life Science Engineering GmbH

SPIE has successfully completed the acquisition of 87 percent of OTTO Life Science Engineering GmbH (OTTO LSE). Prior to this, the relevant competition authorities approved the transaction. With this, the independent European market leader for multi-technical services is expanding its range of services in industrial services and enhancing its offerings for customers in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.

OTTO LSE specializes in EPC services (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) for pharmaceutical and biotechnological production facilities and laboratories. The company has made a name for itself, particularly with turnkey implementation of complex projects in the life sciences industry. The 140 specialists at OTTO LSE possess outstanding expertise in process design, clean media, cleanroom, and building technology.
