SPETEC® Cleanroom Cell
Cleanroom technology can be used in the manufacturing, packaging, or storage of dust-sensitive mechanical and electronic components, and anywhere a particle-free environment is required.
Spetec GmbH has now expanded its cleanroom offerings to a total of three different cleanroom concepts. This makes it possible to realize all requirements, from cost-effective solutions to high-quality cleanrooms according to GMP guidelines for pharmaceuticals.
The cleanroom module consists of anodized aluminum profiles and can be installed in any laboratory, production room/hall, or office without the need for structural modifications. A complete cleanroom workstation can also be installed within the cleanroom module. Thanks to the profile technology, the size can be freely chosen between 3 m² and approximately 350 m².
The module itself is framed by a odorless strip curtain or side elements made of acrylic or laminated glass or aluminum composite panels, creating a sealed unit. Other equipment options such as electric sliding doors, material or personnel lock systems with interlocking if needed are possible.
The effective cleanroom area can be variably determined by assembling individual laminar flow modules of different sizes. Thus, production lines or conveyor belts can also be integrated into the cleanroom module.
For the SPETEC® cleanroom module, H14 filters are used. These have an efficiency of 99.995%. This means that the filter removes at least 99.995% of all particles with a particle size of 0.12 μm (according to MPPS). For a particle size of 0.3 μm, the efficiency is approximately 99.9995%. This laminar airflow under the flow modules prevents exchange with contaminated air from outside.
Using a SPETEC® cleanroom module, for example, reduces the particle concentration from about 15 million/m³ (size 0.12 μm, MPPS) to approximately 1,500 particles within the unit. This corresponds to cleanroom class DIN ISO 5 or class 100 according to US Fed. 209E.
Additionally, ISO classes 6 to 9 (DIN ISO 14644-1) and classes A to D according to GMP can be realized. Depending on the requirements, SPETEC® cleanroom modules can be custom-designed and adapted to the respective needs.
