Specialist in the optimization of cleanroom hygiene

When any type of cleanroom requires an intelligent and coordinated cleaning concept, Hydroflex is a key partner for the industry. It is also sought after for optimizing existing hygiene concepts with the integration of new, innovative systems, making it one of the leading providers of cleanroom cleaning systems.

Holistic Concepts and Support

The family-owned company from Gladenbach, Hesse, has been dealing with cleaning systems for professional use for over 35 years, with a focus for many years on the development and optimization of cleaning systems for cleanrooms and GMP areas.

Main focus areas are essentially:

  • - Development of certified single-use and reusable mop systems
  • - Ergonomic cleaning carts with moistening or pre-preparation methods
  • - Comprehensive selection of cleanroom-specific wiping cloths
  • - Tools and services to facilitate work around cleanroom hygiene

Renowned and leading companies from the pharmaceutical, medical technology, optics/laser, and semiconductor industries trust in Hydroflex's well-thought-out solutions and cleaning systems.

Cleanroom products must meet a multitude of criteria and withstand high demands. The supplier thus becomes an important partner, expert, and advisor. Specially developed products for cleanrooms, as well as suitable consumables, guarantee compliance with specified standards – from the cleanroom mop, which reliably captures the smallest particles, to the application process that works without hand contact with the mop or holder, to the safe and ergonomic disinfection of workbenches and isolators.

Independent Product Certification as a Foundation

As a specialized provider of efficient cleaning products with high innovation capacity, continuous product development is essential to achieve even higher safety and better quality features. Feedback from numerous customers and partners in the cleanroom market also has a significant influence.

Hydroflex places great importance on ensuring that the product quality recognized in the industry is also confirmed by independent institutes such as the renowned Fraunhofer IPA (Institute for Production Technology and Automation). For example, the "Tested Device" certification was awarded for cleanroom mops (single-use/reusable) during rigorous testing. Several products were certified for use up to ISO Class 5 (equivalent to GMP A/B). These quality assurances significantly facilitate customers' quality assurance work, for example, when demonstrating the cleanroom suitability of mop systems during process validations or audits.

Single-Use Microfiber Mop Solutions

Special attention is also given to the development of single-use mop systems for maximum safety and efficiency in cleaning and disinfection. Increasingly, applications require traceability and documentation, and those responsible avoid risks such as dirt residues or material degradation due to reusing used (reusable) mops. Hydroflex offers single-use microfiber mop solutions—sterile or non-sterile—for this purpose.

A special feature is the pre-sterilized, sterile single-use mop PurMop® EF40-SV. Features such as high cleaning performance and ready-to-use packaging provide users with a high level of cleaning efficiency and application safety. The multi-layer construction enables not only a large surface area but also a contactless process, i.e., avoiding hand contact with the mop and mop holder.

Thoughtfully Designed Cart & Accessories Systems Guarantee Safety

Different cleanrooms have different requirements. A pharmacy with two small sterile areas has different procedures and systems than a medical technology company with several thousand square meters of cleanroom space. Suitable systems and concepts are offered for a wide range of needs. There is not just "the" cleanroom mop, as customer requirements and needs vary greatly. Also, detailed procedures such as the moistening process and handling of fresh and used mops must be individually coordinated.

With the PurQuip® Ergo System, Hydroflex introduced a contactless cleanroom cleaning system for the first time, setting a benchmark in ease of use and contamination safety.

Along with the optimal equipment, customers benefit from a comprehensive ergonomic and coordinated concept for efficient and safe cleaning in critical areas.

Wiping Cloths for Every Requirement

The expanded PurWipe® program offers a comprehensive range of wiping cloth models. Specially developed microfiber cloth materials ensure high cleaning efficiency as well as consistently low particle emission.

Market-typical requirements such as high absorbency and internally set standards for reduced fiber release were central during development.

Results of these developments include, for example, a cleanroom-compatible packaging concept and a 100% inspection policy, whereby each cloth is inspected and possibly sorted before packaging.

Development Continues

Hydroflex remains committed to continuous development and innovation, all aimed at increasing safety, efficiency, and ergonomics in cleanroom hygiene in the future.
