Affected by these fine film contaminants are also the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, the medical sector, and the electrical and electronics industry. Experts in quality management, technical cleanliness, and film contamination focus on how to identify these unwanted residues, properly clean components, and keep production processes technically clean.

As industrial demands are increasing significantly, but costs must be kept under control, industry and research experts meet annually at the Parts2Clean trade fair in Stuttgart. In cooperation with the fair, the Süddeutscher Verlag team organizes parallel events for the specialized conference films2clean. The new event will take place on October 26 and 27, 2020, at Messe Stuttgart. The moderation will be handled by Christoph Tammer, Group Leader for Quality and Technical Cleanliness at Fraunhofer IGCV.

Dr. Alexander Mäder, Specialist in Materials Analysis and Failure Analysis at Brose Group, provides information on the extraction and identification of film contamination. Kerstin Zübert, Application Technician at Hermann Bantleon, focuses on cleaning, preservation, and packaging, and explains why a holistic approach and implementation of this topic are crucial in practice. Yunus Demirtas, Head of Research and Development at Ecoclean, presents cleaning techniques, analysis, and validation options for film cleanliness. Monitoring cleaning media and checking component cleanliness are the topics of Stefan Büttner's presentation, Application Technician at SITA Messtechnik.
