The company Dahlhausen is a well-established name in the healthcare sector. It manufactures single-use medical products for all areas of application for hospitals. In addition to clinics and hospitals, pharmacies are also among the customers.

The manufacturing and logistics center of Dahlhausen Medical Technology in the Sülzegraben industrial area of Halberstadt has been a solid player in the healthcare industry for many years. Their product range includes a wide variety of items needed for all aspects of hospital daily operations.

The family-owned company’s history dates back to 1854 at its headquarters in Cologne. In Halberstadt, the company is currently expanding its range of in-house productions. "In the future, we want to produce medical ventilation tubes here ourselves," announced Managing Director Holger Linke. The testing phase is already underway, and approval is expected in the fall.

Primarily, the manufacturing, packaging, and completion of sterile medical single-use items are located in Halberstadt. The company has specialized in customer-specific sets for clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and retailers. A cleanroom of 1,000 square meters is available for production. The modern warehouse area can hold 8,000 pallets. The product range includes around 6,000 small parts. A total of 50 employees work in Halberstadt. Every month, 20,000 to 30,000 packages are packed for customers across Europe.

There is close cooperation with the Halberstadt-based Primed Group. The company offers gas sterilization for Dahlhausen products, and Primed products are integrated into the logistics provider’s range. Primed Managing Director Harry Leibitzki fondly recalls how he was able to inspire the Cologne-based entrepreneur to invest in the Halberstadt location. Both companies hope to continue participating in the growing global healthcare market with their high-quality products and innovations. That’s why the entrepreneurs are investing in their own research and development projects—in collaboration with specialists from hospitals.
