At the water treatment expert EnviroFALK, an era comes to an end: After nearly 30 years, Erhard Burggraf has been properly retired and bid farewell to his well-deserved retirement. As a founding member, the technical managing director of EnviroFALK helped establish and develop it into a leading provider of process water technology in Germany.

Numerous guests, including employees, shareholders, and business partners, honored the 65-year-old EnviroFALK CEO's achievements in a ceremonial setting. As one of the "EnviroFALK captains," he steered the technical development of his ship with foresight, prudence, and a keen sense for economic trends and long-term market developments. This allowed the company to significantly increase not only sales but also profitability. In short, he ensured that the engine room of the ship functioned perfectly all these years, described Peter Leyendecker, Commercial Managing Director and Spokesperson of EnviroFALK, the outstanding merits of Erhard Burggraf. He thanked him for his extraordinary commitment and his great life achievement. Furthermore, he was pleased that Erhard Burggraf would continue to serve EnviroFALK in an advisory capacity. Under his leadership, important strategic decisions were made, which enabled EnviroFALK, for example, to position itself as a leading provider of pure water circulation systems in the optical industry. Additionally, the company has held a top position in the German market for membrane system manufacturing for many years. Moreover, Erhard Burggraf successfully advanced the largest construction in the company's history: one of the most modern regeneration stations for ion exchange resins for water desalination in Europe.

In his thanks to the EnviroFALK team, Erhard Burggraf emphasized the committed collaboration of everyone, characterized by respectful interaction and solution-oriented action — in a company that offers great creative freedom and high personal responsibility. This "EnviroFALK spirit," also experienced as authentic by customers, has significantly contributed to the company's successful growth.

Subsequently, the long-standing EnviroFALK CEO handed over the symbolic baton to his successor, Lutz Bohmerich, who had already taken over technical management on June 1, 2018. In his previous position, Bohmerich was responsible for process engineering management for project systems.

Peter Leyendecker, long-standing Managing Director, and Lutz Bohmerich will now jointly lead the company and will focus on further innovative solutions and concepts in process water, pure water, and ultrapure water technology in the future.
