Smart connection technology as an alternative to welding connections

With its new stainless steel assembly system (EMS), RK Rose+Krieger expands its range of stainless steel products with innovative connecting elements for the construction of industrial frame structures made from square or round tubes in the standard size 40. A special clamping technique allows for easy, quick, and secure assembly or disassembly in just a few steps.

The new EMS from RK Rose+Krieger is a clean, unobtrusive alternative to welded pipe structures. The customer receives pre-finished connecting elements including innovative clamping technology, which can be combined with cut-to-length stainless steel tubes to create any desired frames or railings.

Currently, five different EMS elements are available in both round and square tube versions: corners, T-joints, cross connectors, three-way connectors, and foot elements with height adjustment connection. In addition to the threaded hole for the height adjustment, the EMS foot elements feature a second hole for draining cleaning fluid.

Each of the EMS elements is delivered with a stainless steel cast clamp, which is inserted into the connecting tubes and securely fastened by tightening a screw. This creates a safe yet easily releasable connection. The special clamping technology, which can compensate for tolerances of up to two millimeters, ensures a secure four-point contact in both round and square tubes, resulting in a firm, centered, all-around fit.

The new stainless steel assembly system is a particularly sustainable solution, as connecting elements and clamps can be combined with any round or square stainless steel tube with a cross-section of 40x2. Additionally, the assembled frames can be disassembled at any time, transported in a space-saving manner, and reassembled into new configurations.

Typical application areas for EMS connecting elements include frame structures in the food industry, cleanrooms, and all other industrial environments where stainless steel constructions are advantageous or desired.
An expansion of the EMS with additional connecting elements is planned.
