Simple, flexible, and transparent

The new Patch 1 extends the S!MPATI software 4.80(.1) from weisstechnik for improved control of environmental simulation systems. This includes a comparative analysis of multiple recording archives – for example, for precise analysis of the behavior of different test specimens during various test runs with different systems. An additional converter has been introduced, which translates third-party programs into the S!MPATI format, thereby standardizing the control of test procedures and test devices.

With the weisstechnik S!MPATI software, users operate their environmental simulation systems—including data analysis—in a user-friendly and reliable manner.

For customers already using S!MPATI, the update is free. Those who have not yet implemented the software can download it from the company's website and test it free of charge for six months on up to five systems.

Evaluate and compare multiple archives simultaneously

The current version 4.80 with Patch 1 of weisstechnik's S!MPATI software enhances the previous integration and analysis of multiple test archives: now, evaluations and visual material from different test systems can also be overlaid. This allows the user to compare their reference diagrams with each other.

This new feature makes it quick and easy to compare test recordings. It enables users to evaluate the behavior of their test specimens during various test cycles across different testing systems. The simultaneous display of images and graphical data representations improves test analysis. Additionally, evaluations can be annotated with comments and exported as a text file (CSV).

Effectively standardize third-party programs

The converter program developed by weisstechnik Software Consulting transfers third-party programs from other applications into the S!MPATI format, allowing them to be used on weisstechnik systems. Furthermore, S!MPATI enables control of additional environmental simulation machines, including those from other manufacturers. This makes the software a versatile package capable of flexibly managing various testing setups and complex test scenarios—whether for climate testing or material examinations.

To simplify data exchange within the customer's process environment, weisstechnik uses the international communication standard OPC UA for machine data exchange. The collected information is unified within a data model and can thus be integrated into other systems such as MES, SCADA, or ERP.

Create 1500 photos in 24 hours

The software module "S!MPATI time labs" documents tests with a pneumatically triggered camera system through photos. With S!MPATI 4.80, the quota was increased from 1500 images per recording to 1 image per minute – with no time limit. Image recording in climate test chambers is possible under conditions from minus 40°C to plus 80°C, with a relative humidity of 10 to 95 percent.

Use software as a service

S!MPATI 4.80.1 installs almost automatically. Whether a version is already installed on the system or not – the new setup either downloads the update or a complete full version to the computer. The software runs on Windows 10 and 11 as well as Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022, and can be conveniently operated as a Windows service via the optional S!MPATI-Service module. The advantage: the service runs in the background of the operating system, independent of user logins and logouts. This prevents interruptions in data recording.
