Sharing knowledge and benefiting together - the Cleanroom Consultation Hour by Cleanroom Future

At 4:00 PM on December 1, 2021, the Zoom screen was exited by all participants of the 18th Cleanroom Future Cleanroom Consultation. Since July 2020, born out of the pandemic, this idea was initiated by the Cleanroom Future team. Every first Wednesday of the month, cleanroom managers and experts have been meeting to exchange ideas on current topics from the cleanroom world with initiator and moderator Frank Duvernell.

The participants come from various cleanroom sectors with microbiological and microtechnological requirements for their processes. Everyone can and is allowed to speak.

There are experts who have the opportunity to share their knowledge in their field with many. The cleanroom consultation is free for all interested parties.

The new format in the cleanroom industry was initially conducted with open, emerging topics. However, it soon became clear that one hour for discussion is not enough, so since then, a predetermined focus topic has been established. This way, each participant knows in advance whether it is worthwhile to step out of their work process for this hour and participate. Through user-oriented engagement, a regular participant base of between 30 and 40 people has developed.

The feedback is very positive, and participants confirm this with numerous emails thanking for this platform and contributing their own ideas and questions in advance.

The topics cover the entire spectrum of cleanroom operations. Training of cleanroom personnel, dealing with external service providers, qualification requirements, measurement technology in the cleanroom, and much more.

Connecting people, providing them with a platform, and sharing knowledge aligns perfectly with Frank Duvernell's philosophy and is common practice in the cleanroom consultation. Many new topics, such as dealing with smokers in cleanroom operations or expanding a cleanroom production, are planned for 2022 and will continue to be discussed every first Wednesday of the month at 3:00 PM.
