The global expansion of Vink Chemicals continues. To optimally and directly serve customers in Asian markets on-site, this year the Vink Chemicals (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. was founded and a new service office with a laboratory was opened in Shanghai.

Since the beginning of 2017, the new service office with a sales office, laboratory spaces, and a warehouse has been operating in Shanghai. Asia is one of the most important markets worldwide for Vink Chemicals, based in Kakenstorf, Lower Saxony. Many products that are introduced to the European market are manufactured, preserved, and packaged in Asia, especially in China. Vink Chemicals' Asian customers include producers of polymer chemistry, paints and coatings, as well as adhesives.

Vink Chemicals is familiar with the strict European requirements for biocides and products treated with them for the European market. The chemical experts can not only provide Asian producers with the necessary biocides but also offer legal and regulatory support. Vink Chemicals GmbH & Co. KG develops and formulates individual biocides in batch sizes of up to 20 tons per batch. Sixteen specialists in Kakenstorf are responsible for sales, raw material procurement, product development in the company's own R&D laboratory, and production facilities. The production volume of 12,000 tons per year covers the entire range of well-known biocides for pot and film preservation of paints and coatings, as well as for water treatment, cooling lubricants, construction chemicals, detergents, disinfectants, or the polymer industry.
