SCHMIDT® Flow Sensor SS 20.260 in process technology
The SCHMIDT® Flow Sensor SS 20.260 expands the wide range of electronic flow transmitters from SCHMIDT Technology for measurements in air and gases. For precise installation in pipes or ducts, five different sensor lengths from 50 mm to 500 mm are available, and thanks to its compact, small design, the sensor can also be used where sensors with large electronic housings do not fit. Two diagnostic LEDs allow quick detection of operating statuses – "Power supply present" and "Error occurred".
Especially noteworthy in this affordable price range are the large measurement ranges of 0 ... 50 m/s for flow velocity and -20 °C ... +120 °C for medium temperature.
To protect the sensor element from mechanical stress and at the same time create optimal flow conditions, the designers developed a flow-optimized chamber head technology.
The SS 20.260 is already used in drying processes and cooling air monitoring in solar cell manufacturing, for measuring combustion air in industrial furnaces, as well as supply and exhaust air measurement in environmental and building technology systems. Additionally, SCHMIDT Technology offers custom OEM variants of this product for plant builders.
A factory calibration certificate available upon request certifies the very high accuracy of this electronic measuring instrument.
