SCHMIDT® Flow Sensor Family SS 30.300

SCHMIDT Technology introduces a completely new family of inline flow sensors. This significantly expands the SCHMIDT sensor program, which previously consisted of a wide range of immersion sensors. An inline sensor means that the sensor already includes its measuring tube and can directly measure the volumetric flow. Unlike immersion sensors, this greatly simplifies installation, as installation tolerances no longer affect measurement accuracy, and the measuring tube is already calibrated. The sensor family includes 4 sensors with pipe diameters of ½, 1, 1½, and 2 inches. The built-in display allows for the retrieval of current flow rate, total flow, and medium temperature. Using two buttons, the device can be configured, with Output 1 switchable between a switching output and an analog output (4...20 mA), and Output 2 switchable between a pulse output and a switching output. The 4 new sensors will be available from February 2007.

Applications
Compressed air consumption measurement, volume flow measurement in test stands, consumption measurement of protective gases, flow measurement in process gases.
