SCHMIDT Technology closes the gap in calibrating the process chain in cleanrooms

SCHMIDT Technology is the market leader in airflow sensors in cleanroom technology. Users of cleanrooms now utilize these responsive sensors for monitoring and precise regulation of airflow. The previously mainly used differential pressure sensors are no longer sufficient for many customers due to increased accuracy requirements.

To ensure manufacturing processes are monitored and controlled accurately and sustainably, planned maintenance and calibration of the process chain are essential components of safety and quality.

Terms like "Selfcal" or "Autocal" suggest to the user that components or process chains calibrate themselves; however, checking and calibrating the process chain with the appropriate documentation is still necessary.

The triggers for monitoring are essentially elements of all major quality standards such as ISO 9000 or FDA regulations.

An important common denominator in the global process industry is based on standardized, analog interfaces for signaling process variables, whose accuracy must be regularly checked.

With the new calibrators developed by SCHMIDT Technology, process chains can be checked, and analog or digital inputs from PLC / DDC systems and monitoring systems can be calibrated.

For this purpose, the corresponding sensor is replaced by the calibrator, which outputs a fixed set current value. SCHMIDT Technology offers three sizes of meters with 8, 12, and 16 mA to provide a selection of calibration points. The calibrators are mechanically and electrically compatible, making the use of adapters unnecessary.
