SCHMIDT Technology has expanded its program of thermal flow sensors with thermal flow monitors.
These are characterized by their very compact design and a very precisely adjustable switching threshold.
Exceptional is also the fact that the flow monitor can be used at very low flow velocities, as the smallest adjustable threshold is 0.1 m/s. The operational readiness and activation of the switching output are indicated by an LED.
The sensor head has a smooth and sealed surface, is insensitive to dirt, and easy to clean. A version with protective coating is available upon request, which can also be used in air containing aggressive components (e.g., acids and alkalis). The sensing tube made of stainless steel is available in various lengths, so the sensor can always be positioned in the aerodynamically optimal position, whether in small or large exhaust ducts. Applications include exhaust monitoring, cooling air monitoring, flow monitoring in semiconductor equipment, workplace exhaust monitoring, and laboratory exhaust monitoring.
